“Lather & Co. has been a lifelong dream of mine,” Sharley says. “Over time, my vision grew into creating a space where clients could enjoy a complete, one-stop experience for all things spa. That vision is what led to the creation of our spa collective.”
The name itself carries meaning. Originally called The Lather Lounge, the business evolved as Sharley’s vision expanded. “I knew I wanted to keep ‘Lather’ at the center—it felt timeless and true to our roots. Lather & Co. represents not only beauty and self-care, but also the collective of talented professionals who bring the experience to life.”
Unlike traditional spas that may focus on a single service, Lather & Co. embraces a holistic approach. “To me, a ‘spa collective’ represents the essence of what we do. It’s not just one service or one specialty—it’s a thoughtfully curated blend of beauty and wellness offerings, all brought together under one roof.”
Among their most popular services is the 90-minute Scalp Spa, one of the first treatments Lather & Co. introduced. “It’s so much more than just a scalp treatment—it’s a full-body luxury experience designed to relax, rejuvenate, and leave our guests feeling refreshed and radiant,” Sharley explains.
Another defining feature of the spa is its inclusivity. Lather & Co. also offers barber services, an intentional choice. “We believe everyone—including the special men in our lives—deserves to be pampered. They, too, should enjoy the luxury of a spa experience, every bit as much as anyone else.”
The beauty and wellness industry is constantly evolving, but Sharley and her team focus less on chasing trends and more on providing meaningful, timeless experiences. “Our guests come to us for who we are and the values we stand by. Looking ahead, Sharley envisions expanding to other nearby communities. “I’m genuinely grateful for where Lather & Co. is today. My dreams have come to life, and I couldn’t be happier. In the future, I’d love to bring the same experience and care to more people—possibly in Clemson and beyond.”
