Calling All Whataburger Fans

On Tuesday, Whataburger opened the doors to its second location in Athens on May 28 at 11 a.m.

“Our guests here in Athens have been phenomenal with the way they have supported our first location. We have definitely felt the love,” Whataburger Operating Partner Ashley Moore said. “We’re so excited to bring more bold, fresh Whataburger flavors to Athens at our newest location at 3321 Lexington Road.”

The restaurant is the second Whataburger to open in Athens and brings more than 100 local jobs to the area.

The restaurant will open with drive-thru service only. In the coming weeks, Whataburger plans to roll out additional service options, including dining room access, ordering via the Whataburger App and Whataburger.com, curbside and delivery service.

Whataburger is open 24/7, 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day). Breakfast is served from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.
