First, I love the beginning and how it explains the problem that is happening with animals and climate change. I like how the author wrote in an understandable way for kids to understand what is going on.
There are so many fun facts about each animal!! There were a lot of things that I never even knew! Like how if there isn’t any rain, there wouldn’t be any baby flamingoes, or how iguanas have a third eye on top of their heads to see shapes, colors, and movement to detect birds above!
One of my favorite things besides the fun facts is the drawings! Each drawing has so much detail and beautiful colors! I’m very glad that the author Sandra Bates continued her journey with painting after the harsh things her art teacher said because this book is amazing!
